Bael Tree Pod
Description: We work closely with a family-owned operation from a remote small village in Tamil Nadu, India. This ensures that these botanicals are free of pesticides, herbicides, and pollution. They hand pick all of our leaves to ensure the highest quality. The family rinses and sun dries the pods prior to packaging to ensure a sustainable and organic process is in place.
The Bael tree pod comes from Aegle marmelos, which are the fruits that fall into the natural running water in the wild. They are an aesthetically pleasing piece to have in any tank, can be used as a natural food bowl for shrimp tanks. Another idea is to treat them like Podvodoy (underwater) vases, you can plant a dwarf sag and some sand into it to anchor. The uses are endless, as long as you have some imagination.
Our Bael tree pods on average are about 2." - 2" (9cm - 9cm)
Preparation: We recommend adding some sort of substrate to sink them, or simply dig them into the substrate. These are lightweight and love to float, so you’ll need to anchor them.
NOTE: Due to natural variations of each pod they are all unique. The photo is a representation of what to expect.
