Description: The Bloody Mary Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi var. red) is the king of red shrimps. They have the deepest reds due to the red being in their flesh, opposed to having the red pigmentation in the shells like the infamous red cherry shrimp. They appear to have a clear shell and red flesh.
Care: Excellent scavengers that feed on biofilm, algae and organic matter in an established aquarium. For newer aquariums, you can use Podvodoy Snowflake 1-2x daily. The red cherry shrimp are hardy, friendly, and thrive in stable water. Java moss and hiding spots are highly advised in any tank with shrimp, even more so with other fish.
