Description: The Red Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi var. red) is truly a staple to the hobby, and it is to no surprise that they are the most popular shrimp there is for a variety of reasons. We ship healthy red cherry shrimp that are juvenile adults (male and female) of breeding age and about 1/2-1 inch (1.3-2.5cm) or bigger in length. They are most red, a grade in between Sakura and Painted Fire. These are a great option to add some zing to your tank with a pop of beautiful bold red creatures that do nothing but work hard to keep your tank clean.
Care:Excellent scavengers that feed on biofilm, algae and organic matter in an established aquarium. For newer aquariums, you can use Podvodoy Snowflake 1-2x daily. The red cherry shrimp are hardy, friendly, and thrive in stable water. Java moss and hiding spots are highly advised in any tank with shrimp, even more so with other fish.
